Participation in the Metrological Support of RAW measurements/RAW packages

On 28 March 2024 JSC SPC ASPECT took part in the Metrological Support of RAW measurements/RAW packages Scientific and Technical Seminar, which was held in JSC “Advanced Research Institute of Inorganic Materials named after Academician A.A.Bochvar” (Moscow).

The seminar focused on discussion of the problems faced by the nuclear industry in the field of metrological support of measurements of radioactive waste and RW packaging characteristics, search for scientific and technical solutions and development of cooperation in this field.

JSC SPC ASPECT gave presentations on the problems encountered during characterization, possible ways of their solution with the equipment produced by our company, in particular, SKG-03 radioactive waste inventory systems, which were developed taking into account the long-term experience of operation of SKG-02 systems. At present JSC SPC ASPECT produces 17 versions of SKG-03 systems, which makes it possible to characterize all types and objects of all categories of radioactive waste.
